The popular Graduate Certificate in Arboriculture is continuing at the University of Melbourne Burnley Campus in 2016. In terms of AQF levels the Graduate Certificate is Level 8, between a Bachelor Degree (Level 7) and a Masters Degree (Level 9). You must complete all 4 subjects to get the Graduate Certificate in Arboriculture qualification. The course is part time, and most students complete the course in 2 years. The subjects can be done in any order. The cost per subject is approximately $3200. On completion of the Graduate Certificate in Arboriculture you can gain entry into the Master of Urban Horticulture and you may get credit for the four GCA subjects in the MUH, depending on your prior studies. There are four subjects:- Urban Tree Growth & Function
- Managing Urban Trees
- Tree Identification and Selection
- Urban Tree Health
